Your favourite bunch of Behavioural Science geeks!
Brought together by our common interest in the field, our Board is formed of students of different academic and cultural backgrounds. With the work that we carry out with our divisions, we hope to make this field of study accessible and entertaining for everyone. Whether you are a Bocconi student or an external reader, we hope that the work we do can teach you something!

Giorgio Augusto Coen
President
Hi there! I’m Giorgio, an Italian-Swiss third-year CLEF student. While my background is in finance, I’ve always been fascinated by the behavioral sciences: let’s face it, finance is way more fun when you factor in human irrationality. When I came across B.BIAS, I knew I had found the perfect place to explore this interest alongside like-minded people. Being part of this community has been an incredible experience, and I’m excited to keep learning, discussing, and diving deeper into the world of decision-making and biases!
Ana Gogichaishvili
Vice President
Hi, I’m Ana, a second-year BIEM student from Georgia. I’ve always been interested in understanding the human mind through psychology and philosophy. Initially, I wanted to study psychology at university, I even took it as an A-level, but I eventually chose Bocconi.
To bring some creativity into my quantitative economics degree, I joined B.BIAS in the first semester of my first year. Since then, I’ve been part of the marketing team and now a Vice President. What I love most about the association is that it gives you a break from technical side of Bocconi, allowing for self-expression and introducing you to amazing people. I hope B.BIAS continues to grow while maintaining its diverse and unique atmosphere among other Bocconi associations.

Annachiara Barbaro
Co-Head of the Marketing Division
I have a bachelor degree in management and I am now a first year student at the master in economic and social sciences. I joined B.BIAS Graphic division two years ago because I thought that working at graphics would have been a relaxing activity to break from the study routine. Since then, I have enjoyed it a lot and I am now co-head of what has become the Marketing division.
Ilan Rousseau
Co-Head of the Internal Events Division
Hi! My name Is Ilan and I’m a third-year BESS student. I am fascinated by the interdisciplinary approach of behavioral economics. By integrating psychology, neurobiology, statistics and economics (among others), we can uncover counterintuitive results about human incentives. In the Internal Events division, we dive into research projets to explore the nature of decision-making, whether through existing papers or self-exploration, and present those findings with the rest of the association!

Andrija Budec
Co-Head of the Internal Events Division
I am a second-year BESS student from Budapest. I find it fascinating to understand the nature of decision-making and how we can adjust economic models so that they reflect how an irrational human would decide. At B.BIAS, we can explore the nature of decision-making, something that was not covered in my courses so far. At the Internal Events division, our goal is twofold. First, we aim to give members the opportunity to learn from each other in behavioral economics. Second, members of the Internal Events team can do their own research and present it – something that I missed from the university experience until B.BIAS.

Aida Ghezzi
Co-Head of the External Events Division
I’m Aida, a third-year BESS student from Peru with a strong interest in behavioral sciences. As the co-head of external events, I’m excited to bring my enthusiasm and fresh ideas to the role! I look forward to organizing engaging events for our association this year.
Luana Nagamine
Head of the Blog Division
Hi! My name is Luana and I’m a second-year BIEM student from Brazil. I joined B.BIAS in my first year as a writer for the Blog Division because I’ve always been interested in exploring the different interconnections between the social sciences fields. What applications can psychology have on consumer markets? How does gender bias affect economics? What drives people’s voting behavior? Those are just some of the questions we try to uncover through our articles. On our blog, you’ll find many different perspectives on various issues surrounding the world of behavior insights!
